We're shooting the sci-fi film Jathia's Wager on December 13 and December 14th and everyone who can get out to Ventura, CA is invited to join us. Below is the shooting schedule and how you can participate. If you plan on coming please RSVP on meetup or send me (Solomon Rothman [masked]) an e-mail to that effect.

What we need - More background actors and actresses. You don't have to have any movie experience and there will be improv opportunities available. we guarantee you'll be seen in the finished movie and there are some lines to read (you'll get to react and speak on camera) and some improv opportunities. We're working on a follow up series and feature film so there are always future opportunities for people interested in the project.

What you'll need - To show up dressed in all white. If you would like to participate, but do not have an all white outfit, please let us know and we may be able to help you.

What's the back story on the towns people?

Townspeople Background / Male / Female / All Ethnicities / 16 - 99 years Description: You're a member of an isolated community of humans who hold strong beliefs and have lived close knit simple lives. There are some lines as well as multiple improv opportunities available, you'll be sure to be seen heavily in the final production, this not a "no show" background part. Wardrobe: All white from head to toe.

When do the background actors and actresses need to be there?

Your commitment will only be Saturday December 13 from 1:15 PM - 5:30 PM . Please show up at 2309 Chippewa Ln, Ventura, CA 93001 at 1:15 PM on December 13, 2008. We'll begin shooting the green screen shots, close / bedroom shots at 1:30

At 3:00 we'll all drive over to Arroyo Verde park (5000 Foothill Rd
Ventura, CA 9300) (car pool opportunities are available) where we'll shoot until 5:30 PM (or before if we finish early).

10:00 - People arrive at 2309 Chippewa Ln and equipment is setup.

10:30 - 11:15 Hallway Scene with Guard

11:30-12:00 Storage room scene with guard

12:30- 1:30 Lunch / Break

1:30-3:00 Jathia's return, Bedroom scenes, kids reactions, town people approach the light.

3:15 - 3:25 - we'll all drive over to Arroyo Verde park (5000 Foothill Rd
Ventura, CA 9300) (car pool opportunities are available)

3:40 - 5:30 Arroyo Verde Park - Towns people escort jathia before and approach the light after jathia's return
